This statement outlines our privacy policy. Residential Reversions Ltd will be the Data Controller of the personal data that you provide to us. Our current Data Protection Officer (DPO) is not required to be registered with the Data Protection Commission . You directly provide Residential Reversions Ltd with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Enquire online for any of our products or services.
  • Use our “Equity Release” calculator online.
  • Voluntarily complete an application form.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

Residential Reversions Ltd may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • By way of a QFA appointed by yourself to advise on the preparation of a detailed application for our products.

How will we use your data?

Our Company collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your application and manage your account.
  • Email you with special offers on other products and services we think you might like.
  • Carry out necessary Customer Due Diligence in line with our legal obligations.

In agreeing with this policy, Residential Reversions Ltd will have your consent to share your data (in relation to your initial enquiry and our subsequent indicative quotation) with our panel of QFAs so that they may contact you and advise/help you in progressing your full detailed application for our products. We will always seek to only provide data to a maximum of three members of our panel that are closest to you, so as to prevent excessive contact. The members of our QFA panel are listed on our website.

When Residential Reversions Ltd processes your order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies.

How do we store your data?

Our Company securely stores your data on a secure partitioned and encrypted cloud server hosted in Ireland.

Our Company will keep your identification and transaction data for 5 years in line with Customer Due Diligence requirements under Criminal Justice Act 2010, and for a minimum of 6 years in line with the Consumer Protection Code. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by removing the relevant files from our secure, partitioned and encrypted cloud server and overwriting it with new data.

Marketing

  • Residential Reversions Ltd would like to send you information about products and services of ours that we think you might like.
  • If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date. We will never send direct marketing emails to customers without their prior agreement to such.
  • You have the right at any time to stop Residential Reversions Ltd from contacting you for marketing purposes.
  • If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us at info@plus.ie to advise us of such.
