How does it work?

You may qualify if...

You are aged over 55
You have a property worth more than €120,000
Your main residence is in the Republic of Ireland

Property Worth

Assume you own a property worth €200,000 Euros and would like to release some equity tied up with it through reversion.

Willing to Sell 50%

If you are willing to sell 50% of it to Home Plus, the actual market value would be 50% of 200K which is 100K.

Lump Sum

But since you get to live in that same house for the rest of your life or until you enter a nursing home, you will be entitled to a lump sum lesser than 100K.

Lump sum depends on age

The lump sum you receive also depends on your age. For example, the younger you are, the longer you will stay in your house thereby further reducing the lumpsum you are entitled on day 1.

Boost lump sum

You can also boost this lump sum by opting to pay a small monthly figure.

Flexible Options

With the boost, there is also a flexible option where you can either stop paying those monthly amounts or lower it to an even smaller amount after a number of years at your convenience.
